Mr. Jimmie Lee Lewis Sr.

Father, we stretch our hands to thee, no other help we know.  If you withdraw yourself from us, we have nowhere to go.  It is with sincere sympathy, the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak street, Ocilla Georgia, 31774 pause to announce the death and homegoing celebrations for Mr. Jimmie Lee Lewis Jr. of 328 Mt. Pleasant Church Road, Pineview Georgia.  Born Friday, January 31, 1951, in Rochelle Georgia to the late Mrs. Pearline Harris Lewis and the late Mr. Jimmie Lee Lewis Sr.  Mr. Lewis received God's call to his eternal home on Monday March 2, 2026 at Piedmont Newton Health Care, Coverton Georgia. 

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving and devoted wife:  Mrs. Catherine Lewis of Pineview Georgia.  Their children: Mr. Jermey (Telia) Lewis of Plainville New Jersey, Mrs. Aja and Mr. Mott Jones of Stockbridge Georgia, Mr. Abner and Mrs. Tressa Maloy of Byron Georgia and Mr. Troy and Mrs. Wykesa Maloy of Hephzibah Georgia.  His siblings: Mr. Willie Lewis of Decatur Georgia, Mr. Melvin Lewis of Rex Georgia, Mr. George Loyd of Allen Town Pennsylvania, and Mr. Walter Banks of Pineview Georgia along with his godmother Mrs. Dorothy Spivey of Pineview Georgia and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.  A home going celebration for Mr. Jimmie Lee Lewis Jr. is planned to Saturday March 7, 2026 at 11:00 from the Piney Grove Missionary Baptist church, 899 Railroad Ave, Rochelle Georgia where Rev. Travis Johnson serves as pastor and will deliver the eulogy and committal.  Interment will follow in the Piney Grove cemetery, Rochelle Georgia.  Mr. Lewis will lie in state at the Piney Grove Baptist church, Friday afternoon 2:00 until 6:00 p.m.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla Georgia has charge of all arrangements for Mr. Jimmie Lee Lewis Jr.  Please continue to lift the Lewis family up in Prayer.
