It is with sadness in our heart, the Davis Funeral Home 301 North Oak Street Ocilla Georgia 31774, pause to announce the death of Mr. Jimmie Turner of 124 Taylor Circle, Fitzgerald Georgia 31750. Born Wednesday February 5, 1941, in Cuthbert Georgia to the late Mrs. Ora Bell Taylor Turner and the late Mr. Willie Turner. Mr. Turner received God's call to his eternal home on Monday morning February 9, 2026, at his home surrounded by his devoted family.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife: Mrs. Jennifer Whitman Turner of Fitzgerald Georgia. Their children: Mrs. Ronda and Mr. Ralph Gerrierre of Stockbridge Georgia, Mrs. Regina Michelle Flagg of Fitzgerald Georgia, Mr. Reginald and Mrs. France Turner,Sr. of Guyton Georgia, Mr. Alan and Mrs. Carlette Whitman of Chester Peak Virgina, Mr. Julis Paul and Mrs. Pashina Brown of Fitzgerald Georgia, and Mrs. Angelia and Mr. Johnny Pruitt of Fitzgerald Georgia. His siblings: Mr. Johny Turner of Fitzgerald Georgia and Mrs. Patricia Cumming of Kalleen Texas, along with a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins relatives and friends. 
Home going celebrations for Mr. Jimmie Turner is planned for Sunday February 15, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. from the Holsey Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church 515 East Suwanee Street, Fitzgerald Georgia, where Rev. Jarius Sanford serves as pastor. Rev. Dr. Marvin J. Howard will deliver the eulogy and committal. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery 157 East Benjamin Hill Drive, Fitzgerald Georgia. Mr. Turner will lie in state at the Davis Funeral Home 301 North Oak Street in Ocilla, Saturday morning 11:00 until 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Sunday 12:00 noon until the funeral hour. The Davis Funeral Home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements for Mr. Jimmie Turner.
