Born February 20, 1947, in Ocilla Georgia to the late Ms. Odessa Mobley Towns and the late Mr. Charlie Towns Sr. Ms. Anderson received God's call from labor to reward on Wednesday April 16, 2025, at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta Georgia surrounded by her loving family.
She leaves to cherish her memories her only and devoted daughter: Ms. Shera Dianne Anderson of Atlanta Georgia. Her granddaughter: Ms. Santana Mike of Atlanta Georgia. Her great grandchildren: Tirianah Oliver, Tatiannah Oliver, Ti'Yannah Oliver, Ahmir Shamane Goodwin of Atlanta Georgia and McKenzie Armani Goodwin of Ocilla Georgia along with a host of nieces nephews cousins relatives and friends.
A home going celebration for Ms. Ella Towns Anderson is planned for Saturday April 26, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. from the Midway Baptist Church, Highway 32, East in the Holt Community of Irwin County where Rev. Al Keith Milton serves as pastor. Rev. Melvin D. Harper ll will deliver the eulogy and committal. Interment will follow in the Ocilla City Cemetery, 301 East Valdosta Ave. Ocilla. Ms. Anderson will lie in state at the Davis Funeral Home in Ocilla Friday morning 11:00 until 6:00 p.m. and Saturday morning 9:00 until 1:00 p.m.
