Roosevelt Street, Ocilla, Georgia. Born March 14, 1942, in Ocilla Irwin County Georgia to the late Ms. Beatrice Bishop Bacon and Mr. Patrick Edwards. Ms. Williams honored God’s call to his eternal home on Monday, November 11, 2024 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas Georgia. Ms. Irishtine leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Sharon Edwards-Phillips of Fayevetteville, Georgia, her devoted niece Mrs. Sheila E. Martin (Johnny) of Ocilla, GA, 6 sisters; Mrs. Barbara J. Giles (Jimmy) of Connecticut, Ms. Janice Jackson and Ms. Rosalind West of Brunswick, GA; Ms. Rose Turner and Mrs. Theawanna Stover (David) of Springfield, MS. Brother; Mr. Larry Bishop (Shelia) of Savannah, GA along with a host of in-laws, nieces, nephew, cousins, relatives and friends. The homegoing celebration for Ms. Irishtine E. Williams is planned for Sunday, November 17, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Pleasant Grove 1st Baptist Church, 217 East 7th Street, Ocilla, GA. with the pastor, Rev. James C. Curtis delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Ocilla City Cemetery, 301 East Valdosta Ave, in Ocilla. Ms. Williams will lie in state at the Davis Funeral Home in Ocilla, Saturday morning 11:00am until 6:00pm.
