There is a name I love to hear; it sounds so good to me. It sounds like music in my ear, the sweetest name I know.  It is with sincere sympathy, the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak street, Ocilla Georgia   31774, pause to announce the death of Retired Staff Sergeant Joseph Members.

Born December 27, 1937, in Ocilla Irwin County Georgia, Mr. Members received God's call from labor to reward on August 24, 2024.  A celebration of life for Mr. Members will be held on Saturday September 21, 2024, at 12:00 noon from the Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Gotha Florida 34734.  Graveside committal services will be held on Monday September 23, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. from the Ocilla city cemetery, 301 East Valdosta Ave. in Ocilla Georgia.  Rev. Charles Andrews will deliver word of comfort and committal.  The Davis Funeral home of Ocilla has charge of local arrangements.
