Mr. Issac Donta Hardy

There's a sweet, sweet sprit in this place, and I know that it's the spirit of the lord. There's a sweet expression on each face, and I know that it's the presence of the lord.  Sweet holy spirit, sweet heavenly dove, stay right here with us, shadow us with your love.  And for each blessing we'll lift our voice in praise, without a doubt we know, that we have been revived, when we shall leave this place.  It is with our deepest sympathy, the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak Street, Ocilla Georgia   31774 pause to announce the death of Mr. Issac Donta Hardy of Ocilla Georgia.  Born March 2, 1977, in Ocilla Georgia to the late Mr. Issac Wilcox and Mrs. Veronia Hardy Wilcox. Mr. Hardy received God's call to his heavenly home on Monday March 25, 2024, at Tift Regional Medical center in Tifton Georgia, surrounded by his caring family.  Mr. Hardy leaves to cherish his memories, his wife: Mrs. Ladawnn Ewina Hardy of Ocilla Georgia.  Their children:  Ms. Kaeliyea Barthell and Ms. Mashala Barthell both of Ocilla Georgia. His mother: Mrs. Veronica Hardy Wilcox of Ocilla Georgia.  Stepdaughter: Ms. Shanda Johnson, and godson, Mr. Kyree Holland.  His siblings: Mrs. Olivia and Mr. Steve Gooden of Gainesville Georgia and Mr. Corey and Mrs. Jamie Wilcox of Ocilla Georgia, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins relatives and friends.  Home going services for Mr. Issac Donta Hardy are planned for Saturday April 6, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. from the Midway Baptist church, Highway 32 East in the Holt community, where Rev. Al Keith Milton serves as pastor and will deliver the eulogy and committal.  Interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery, 301 East Valdosta Ave. in Ocilla Georgia.  Mr. Hardy will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, Friday morning, 11:00 until 6:00 p.m., and Saturday morning 10:00 until 12:00 noon.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.  Please continue to lift the Hardy, Wilcox and Young families up in prayer.
