Mrs. Eloise Wells Robinson

With sincere sympathy, the Davis Funeral Home, 301 North Oak Street, Ocilla, Georgia 31774 pause to announce the death and homegoing celebration for Mrs. Eloise Wells Robinson, daughter of the late Mr. John Oris Wells, Sr. and the late Mrs. Johnnie Mae Wells Robinson. Born, February 23, 1938 in Alapaha, Berrien County Georgia. Mrs. Robinson received God's call to her eternal home on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at her home in Alapaha, Georgia surrounded by her loving family and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Wiley Polk Robinson and three children; Gloria, Phyllis and Denise Robinson. One sister, Mrs. Mena Jean Johnson and four brothers, Mr. John Oris Wells, Jr., Mr. Booker T. Wells, Mr. Joe Henry Wells and Mr. Norman Wells. One grandchild; Ms. Kimberly Michelle Robinson. Two sister-in-laws; Ms. Georgiarene Wilcox and Ms. Catherine Shaw.
She leaves to cherish her memories: Four children: Mr. Wendell and Mrs. Regina Robinson of Warner Robins, Georgia; Mr. Michael Robinson and Mr. Dennis Robinson both of Alapaha, Georgia; Mrs. Beverly Ann and Mr. Shun T. Allen of Killeen, Texas. Three sisters: Mrs. Ethel Guess, Mrs. Lulanna Bowens, Mrs. Josephine English; one brother; Mr. Donnell Wells. Three aunts; Mrs. Barbara Wells of Rocky Mountain, North Carolina, Mrs. Mary Wells of Wendell, North Carolina and Mrs. Mae Wells of Coolidge, Georgia; thirteen grand children, fifteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
A home going celebration for Mrs. Eloise Wells Robinson is planned for Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from the New Hope Baptist Church, 201 South Henry Street in Alapaha, Georgia where her pastor, Rev. Johnny Grady will deliver the eulogy and committal. Interment will follow in the West Fletcher Cemetery in Alapaha, Georgia. Mrs. Robinson will lie in state at the New Hope Baptist Church in Alapaha, Georgia, on Friday 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The Davis Funeral Home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.
