Mrs. Mildred Wylene Payne Moss

What a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear.  What a privilege it is to carry, everything to God in prayer.  Oh what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pains we bear.  All because we do not carry, everything to God in prayer.  With sincere sympathy, the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak street, Ocilla Georgia 31774, pause to announce the death and home going celebration for Mrs. Mildred Wylene Payne Moss of 504 North Fieldstone Drive in Ocilla Georgia.  Born May 20, 1927 in Ocilla Georgia to the late Mrs. Mammie Wynn Payne and the late Mr. Willie Payne.  Mrs. Moss received God's call from labor to reward peacefully on Saturday December 24, 2022 at Tifton Rehabilitation Center  in Tifton Georgia.  She is survived by her children:  Mr. Jerry and Mrs. Fran Moss of Tifton Georgia and Mrs. Jennifer and Mr. Jimmie Turner of Fitzgerald Georgia, along with a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.  A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Mildred Wylene Payne Moss is planned for Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. from the Davis funeral home chapel in Ocilla.  Rev Anthony Davis will deliver the eulogy, interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery, 601 North Oak street in Ocilla.  Mrs. Moss will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, on Wednesday 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.
