Mr. Tony White

A charge to keep I have, a God to glorify. Who gave his Son my soul to save and fit it for the sky.  To serve the present age, my calling to fulfill.  O may it all my power engage, to do my master's will.  And then O lord prepare my soul for that great day.  O wash me in thy precious blood, and take my sins away.  With sadness in our heart, the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak street, Ocilla Georgia   31774, pause to announce the death and home going celebration for Mr. Tony White aka T White of 206 North Maple street, Ocilla Georgia,  Born January 1, 1966 in Ocilla Georgia to Ms. Annie Lee White and Mr. Lewis White. Tony received God's call from labor to reward on Sunday June 19, 2022 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta Georgia.  He is survived by his loving and devoted wife: Mrs. Loretta Carlton White of Ocilla Georgia.  Their children: Mr. Gregory Carlton, Mr. Chavarious and Ms. Kia Carlton, Mr. Justin Anderson, and Ms. Shaneka White all of Ocilla Georgia, Ms. Chacara King of Fitzgerald Georgia.  His parents: Ms. Annie Lee White of Ocilla Georgia and Mr. Lewis White of Atlanta Georgia.  Siblings: Mr. James Earl and Mrs. Kim White of Jacksonville Florida, Mr. Dexter and Mrs. Kathryn White, Ms. Shawn White, Ms. Tonji White all of Atlanta Georgia, Ms. Vonda White of New York, New York. Several grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins relatives and friends.  A home going celebration for Mr. Tony White is planned for Saturday June 25, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. from the Ocilla Church of God, Highway 129 North in Ocilla Georgia.  His pastor Rev. Charles A. Anderson Sr. will deliver the eulogy and committal.  Interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery 301 East Valdosta Ave. in Ocilla.  Mr. White will lie in state at the Ocilla Church Of God on Saturday afternoon 1:00 until the funeral hour.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.
