Mrs. Ruby Mae Carter Riley

Servant of God well done, rest from thy love employ.  The battle is fought, the victory is won.  Enter thy masters joy.  A voice at midnight came, she started up to here, a mortal arrow pierced her frame, she fell but felt no fear.  With sincere sympathy, the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak street, Ocilla Georgia 31774, pause to announce the death and home going celebration for Mrs. Ruby Mae Carter Riley of 509 Fieldstone Drive, Ocilla Georgia.  Born November 12, 1931 in Vianna, Doley county Georgia.  Mrs. Riley received God's call from labor to reward on Sunday January 23, 2022 at Tift Regional Medical center in Tifton Georgia.  Mrs. Riley is survived by her children: Mrs. Jonnie Mae Smith of Newark New Jersey, Mrs. Clara Hall of Ocilla Georgia, Mrs. Rebecca and Mr. Leon King of Ocilla Georgia, Mr. Aaron and Mrs. Cheryl Riley of Fitzgerald Georgia, Mr. Eddie James Riley of Alamo  Georgia, Ms. Essie Mae Riley of Ocilla Georgia, Mr. Hayward Riley of Albany Georgia, Ms. Janie White of Ocilla Georgia, and Mr. Clifford Riley of Fitzgerald Georgia. Several Grand, Great grandchildren and great greatgrand children, along with a host of other relatives and friends.  A home going celebration for Mrs. Ruby Mae Carter Riley is planned for Saturday January 29, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. from the Ocilla city cemetery, 301 East Valdosta Ave.  Her pastor Rev. Christopher R. Douglas will deliver the eulogy and committal.  Mrs. Riley will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, Friday morning 10:00 until 6:00 p.m. and Saturday morning 10:00 until 1:30 p.m.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.  Please continue to pray for the Riley family.
