Ms. Equilla Powell

There's a sweet, sweet spirit in this place, and I know that it's the spirit of the lord.  There's a sweet expression on each face, and I know that it's the presence of the lord.  Sweet holy spirit, sweet heavenly dove, stay right here with us, filling us with your love.  And for these blessings, we lift our hearts with praise, without a doubt we'll know that we have been revived when we shall leave this place.  "Without a doubt we'll know, that we have been revived, when we shall leave this place". 

With sincere sympathy the Davis funeral home 301 North Oak street, Ocilla Georgia  31774 pause to announce the death and home going celebration for Ms. Equilla Powell, 307 East 7th. street, Ocilla Georgia.  Born August 10, 1966 to Mr. Matthew Powell and the late Mrs. Lille Jackson.  Ms. Powell received the lord's call to join the heavenly host on Saturday November 6, 2021 at Tift Regional Medical center in Tifton Georgia. 

Ms. Powell is survived by her daughter: Ms. Twaneshia Powell, of Ocilla Georgia, brother; Mr. Moses Jackson of Lumpkin Georgia, sisters: Ms. Patricia Ray, Ms. Jacqueline Elliot and Ms. Sonya Perry all of Columbus Georgia.  Granddaughters: Tashirah Powell, and Tariah Powell both of Ocilla Georgia, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.  A home going celebration for Ms. Equilla Powell is planned for Saturday November 13, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. from Rehoboth Fellowship church, 501 East Pine, Ocilla Georgia where Pastor Melvin D. Harper lll serves as pastor.  Ms. Powell will lie in state on Friday morning at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, 10:00 until 6:00 p.m.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.
