Deacon Leroy Roberts

With sincere sympathy, the Davis funeral home 301 North Oak street Ocilla Georgia, sadly announces the death of Deacon Leroy Roberts , 700 West 6th. street, Ocilla Georgia.  Born October 3, 1946, Deacon Roberts departed this life on Wednesday February 19, 2020 at Dorminy Medical center in Fitzgerald Georgia.   He is survived by his daughter Ms. Elaina Roberts of Boardman Ohio. Father Mr. Willie Wheeler. A loving friend (the mother of his children) Ms. Ann Matlock.  His brothers: Mr. Larry Wheeler, and Mr. Alfred (Mary) Roberts. Sister: Ms. Eleanor (Tootise) Roberts.  Grandchildren: Mi'Kel Harris and Eleya Johnson, special cousins: Lauretta Hadley Gibbs  and Richard (Evelyn)  Roberts along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins relatives and friends. A home going celebration  for Deacon Leroy Roberts is planned for Saturday March 7, 2020 at 12:00 noon from the Davis funeral home chapel, 301 North Oak street, Ocilla. with the Rev. Randy Shelly officiating.  Interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery.   Deacon Roberts will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla Friday morning 11:00 until 7:00 p.m.  Please continue to pray for the Roberts family.
