Johnny HarrisWith sincere sympathy the Davis funeral home 301 North Oak street Ocilla Georgia announces the death and homegoing services for Mr. Johnny (Snooky) Harris 443 Fitzgerald Highway, Ocilla Georgia.  Born October 24,1941 to the late Mr. Jay Lynn Harris and the late Mrs. Addie Mae Harris.  Mr. Harris departed this life on Sunday September 22, 2019 at his home in Ocilla. 

 

He is survived by his wife Mrs. Lydia Diane Newton Harris of Ocilla.  His children: Everett L. and Bobbie Bivens, pastor' G. and Patricia Wells, Johnathan and Virginia Payne, Wade and Gwendolyn Wynn, Gwendolyn Harris, Elizabeth All and Christopher Paxson, Brandy Harris, Johnny D. and Latonsa Harris, Catrena Harris, Shamega Harris, and Eric L. Harris. Brother: Minister Jerry and Minister Cassie George, also a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews cousins, relatives and friends.

 

A home going celebration is planned for Saturday September 28, 2019 from the Pleasant Grove 1st. Baptist church 217 East 7th Street, Ocilla, where the Rev. James Curtis  serves as pastor.  His brother minister Jerry George will deliver the eulogy.  Interment will follow in the Ocilla city cemetery on Valdosta Ave.  Mr. Harris will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, Friday morning 10:00 until 7:00 p.m.  The Davis funeral home Of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.  Please continue to lift the family up in prayer.
