Mr. Alexander Lavoris Copeland

What a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and grief to bear.  What a privilege it is to carry everything to God in prayer.  With sincere sympathy the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak Street Ocilla Georgia, announces the death and home going services for Mr. Alexander Lavoris Copeland, 364 Pine Street, Rochelle Georgia 31079.  Born July 28, 1977 to Ms. Gwendolyn Copeland and Mr. James A. Miller.  Mr. Copeland departed this life on June 13, 2019 at Middle Georgia medical center in Macon Georgia. 

He is survived by Ms. Mother:  Ms. Gwendolyn Copeland of Rochelle Georgia.  Siblings:  Mr. Thomas F. Copeland  and Ms. Paris J. Smith both of Rochelle Georgia,  Mr. Terrio Miller of Warner Robins Georgia, Ms. Nicole Miller of Arizona, and Mr. Jamar Miller of Fitzgerald Georgia.  Also a host of aunts, uncles, cousins relatives and friends.

A home going service for Mr. Alexander Copeland is planned for Thursday June 20 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from the Piney Grove Baptist church in Rochelle Georgia where the Rev. Travis Johnson serves as pastor and will deliver the eulogy.  Interment will follow in the Piney Grove cemetery in Rochelle Georgia.  Mr. Copeland will lie in state at the Piney Grove Baptist church in Rochelle on Wednesday Evening June 19, 2019 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday morning 10:00 until the funeral hour.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.  Please continue to lift the family up in prayer.
