With sadness in our hearts, the Davis funeral home, 301 North Oak street Ocilla, Georgia, announces the death and home going celebration for Mr. Freddie Floyd Sr. of Pineview Georgia. born November 20th 1951, Mr. Floyd departed this life on May 23, 2019 at Taylor Memorial hospital in Hawkinsville Georgia. Mr. Floyd is survived by his wife: Mrs. Cathy Hall Floyd of Pineview Georgia. Children: Mr. Felix (Johnelle) Floyd, Conyers Ga., Mr.Freddie (Katrina) Floyd Atlanta Ga., Ms. Cashema Floyd Johnson, Conyers Ga. Ms. Tameka McCormick, Pineview Ga., Ms. Charitta Floyd, Pineview Ga., Mr. Fredrick (Tadecia) Floyd, Grafenwoher, Germany. Grandchildren: Allison and Brooke Floyd, conyers Ga. Rayna Floyd Atlanta Ga., Eboni and Cameron Johnson, Conyers Ga., Damion McCormick and Shamya Holt, Pinview Ga. Kaylen Whitehead,Pineview Ga., Travon, Dasia, and London Floyd. Also a host on aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousin, relatives and friends survives.
A home going celebration for Mr. Freddie Floyd is planned for Thursday May 30th 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from the Mattie Richland Baptist church, 571 Richland church Road, Pineview Ga. 31071, where Pastor Florine Newberry serves as pastor. His pastor Rev. Karl Wilson pastor of the Cooks Chapel African Methodist Episcopal church Pineview will deliver the Eulogy. Interment will follow in the Church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening 6:00 until 8:00 at the Mattie Richland Baptist church 571 Richland church road Pineview Ga. The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements. Please join us and we continue to lift the family up in prayer.
