Mr. James Edward Sanders Jr.

What a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to  bear.  What privilege it is to carry,  everything to God in prayer.  With sincere sympathy, the Davis funeral home 301 North Oak street, Ocilla Georgia announces the Death and homegoing celebration for Mr. James Edward Sanders Jr.  Born June 15, 1944 to the Late James Edward Sanders Sr. and the Late Stella White Sanders, Mr. Sanders departed this life on March 21, 2019.  He is survived by his loving wife: Mrs. Barbara Bly Sanders of Mcdonough Georgia.   Their Children:   Derick & Karen Edwards of Cottage Grove Minnesota,  Melica & Jean Claude Constant-Somerset New Jersey, Maurice Sanders, and Tamica Sanders both of Mcdonough Georgia.  Also a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

 

A home going celebration for Mr. James Edward Sanders Jr. is planned for Friday March 29, 2019 at 12:00 noon from the Holsey Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, 515 East Suwanee Street, Fitzgerald Georgia, where the Rev. Dr. Anthony Davis serves as pastor.  His pastor Rev. James Harris will deliver the Eulogy.  Interment will follow in the Osierfield community cemetery Osierfield Georgia.  Mr. Sanders will lie in state on Thursday afternoon 3:00 until 7:00 at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla, and at the church Friday morning 10:00 until the funeral hour. Please help us continue to lift the family up in prayer.  The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements.
