Mother Deloris Douglas

With sincere sympathy the Davis funeral home of Ocilla, 301 North Oak Street, announces the Death of mother Deloris Douglas of Ashburn Georgia. Born July 4, 1940, to the gracious parents of Alex Young Sr. and Lou Winnie Young, in the city of St. Joe Florida. Mother Douglas is survived by her children: Mrs. Deborah (Elder James) Patterson, Ms. Shelia Douglas, Ms. Precious Douglas, Ms. Winnie Douglas, Rev. Christopher R. Douglas: her extender children: Ms. Caroline Douglas, Mr. Robert (Mrs. Briana) Douglas, Ms. Erica Douglas, Mr. Cory Douglas. Siblings: Mr. Alex Young Jr., Ms. Yvonne Graydon, Mrs. Georgia (Mr. John) Moore, Mr. Terry (Mrs. Gloria) Jones, Mr. Paul Jones, and Mr. Alphonso Jones. Nineteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins relatives and friends. A home going celebration for mother Deloris Douglas was held on Saturday January 19, 2019 , at 10:00 a.m. at the Madison Avenue Church of God By Faith where Supt. Elder Dr. Larry W. Coffee serves as pastor. Interment followed in the Westview cemetery in Ashburn Georgia. Please join us in lifting the Douglas family up in prayer. The Davis funeral home of Ocilla was in charge of all arrangements.
