Mr. Larry Thomas Deberry Sr.
With sadness in our hearts the Davis funeral home 301 North Oak Street, Ocilla Georgia announces the death and homegoing celebration for Mr. Larry Thomas Deberry Sr. of 517 North McKinley street Ocilla Georgia 31774. Born October 24, 1946 to the late Mr. William and Ms. Josephine McDue DeBerry in Berrian county Alapaha Georgia. Mr. DeBerry was a United State Army veteran serving his country faithfully from September 1966 until September 1968. Mr. DeBerry was a life long member of the Little Flock missionary church until he received the call from God from labor to reward. He was employed for 30 plus years for Delphi E (Delco Remy) division of General motors. Mr. DeBerry is survived by his wife: Ms. Shirley Talton DeBerry of Ocilla Georgia. Their Children: Mr. Larry DeBerry Jr. and Ms. Rhonda (Kevin) Lately of Ocilla Georgia, Mr. Kelvin L. DeBerry and Mr. Quincy DeBerry of Fitzgerald Georgia. Siblings: Ms. Dora DeBerry of Miami Florida, Mr. Albert (Helen) DeBerry of Alapaha Georgia, Mr. Donnie (Lesley) DeBerry of Tifton Georgia, Ms. Dorothy (Joe) Cargile of Atlanta Georgia. Seven Grandchildren: Ms. Khloe DeBerry and Mr. Quincy DeBerry Jr. of Fitzgerald Georgia, Mr. Kelsey Lately, Ms. Kaelyn Lately, and Mr. Kelvin Lately Jr. all of Ocilla Georgia, Mr. kelvin DeBerry Jr. and Mr. Kelton Smith of Fitzgerald Georgia. Also a host of Nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends survives.
A homegoing celebration for Mr. Larry Thomas DeBerry is planned for Saturday December 29, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. from the Midway missionary Baptist church highway 32 East Holt community Ocilla, where the Rev. Al Keith Milton serves as pastor. His pastor Bishop Richard R. Denning, pastor of the Little Flock Missionary Baptist church Gladys Georgia will deliver the eulogy. Mr. DeBerry will lie in state at the Davis funeral home in Ocilla Friday morning December 28, 2018 10:00 until 7:00 p.m. and Saturday morning 11:30 at the church until the funeral hour. The Davis funeral home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements. Please join us was we lift the family up in prayer.
