It is with sincere sympathy, that the Davis funeral home of Ocilla Georgia, announce the death and Home going celebration for Ms. Ester Mae Watson (83) of 449 Fitzgerald Highway in Ocilla Georgia. Ms. Watson accepted the lords call from labor to reward quietly and peacefully at home with her loving and devoted son and daughter-in-law on Saturday morning March 17, 2018. Born October 13, 1934 to the Mr. Jack and Mrs. Sally Young Tyson Watson In Ocilla Irwin county Georgia. Ms. Watson leaves to cherish her memories of love and affection her children: Mr. Edward (Sandra) Watson of Ocilla Georgia, and Ms. Dale Watson of Tampa Florida. Grandchildren: Mr. Shawn Watson Sr., Ms. Latasha Watson, Mr. Eric Watson, and Ms. Monquie Watson all of Ocilla Georgia. Great grandchildren: Ms. Areial Watson, Mr. Shawn Watson Jr. of Fitzgerald Georgia, Mr. Jylan Watson, of Ocilla Georgia, Mrs. Tytieerra Grant of Orlando Florida, Ms. Emari Watson of Philadelphia Penn., Mrs. Larriesha Pope and Mr. Dominquie Newkirt of Ocilla Georgia. Stepmother: Mrs. Theodoshia Watson of Sebring Florida. One sister Mrs. Dorothy Dopson of Ocilla Georgia. One sister-in-law: Ms. Denise Watson of Atlanta Georgia. One brother-in-law: Mr. John Bramlet of Tampa Florida. One Aunt: Mrs. Mattie L. Mintze of Indianapolis Indiana. Also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins relatives and friends, including her Sunnydale and pleasant Grove Baptist church family.
A service of love and home going rejoicing is planned for Saturday morning March 24, 2018 at 11:00 from the Pleasant Grove 1St. Baptist church, 215 Est. 7th. street Ocilla Georgia, where the Rev. James C. Curtis the pastor will officiate. Interment will follow in the Ocilla cemetery on Valdosta Ave. in Ocilla. Ms. Watson will lie in state at the Davis 301 North Oak. Street in Ocilla, Friday morning 10:00 until 7:00 p.m., and at the church Saturday morning 10:00until the funeral hour. Floral arrangement may be sent to the Davis Funeral home in Ocilla and you may contact the family at 449 Fitzgerald highway in Ocilla. The Davis funeral Home of Ocilla has charge of all arrangements
