Mr. Ray Wynn
Ray Wynn, 47, of Ocilla, died Friday, March 14, 2014. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 22, at Empowerment Temple Church of God By Faith, Ocilla, with officiating ministers, Pastor Charles Craig Jordan (eulogist) and Pastor Trevin Simmons (presiding). Interment followed in Ocilla City Cemetery.
Eldrige Wynn, Jr., Rodriguez Wynn, Catlin Wynn, Keno McCray, Malcolm Wynn, Jonathan Wynn, Tracie Cain and Randolph Ellis served as pallbearers. Music was provided by the Hope and Deliverance Choir and Deacon Corey Wynn. Mr. Wynn was born June 26, 1966 in Irwin County to the late Ruthie Ann Wynn and the late Wiloscar Edwards. He received his education in Irwin County schools. Survivors include three daughters, Kalisa (Antwan) Mondon and Raven Latrelle McMillan, both of Fitzgerald and Shonteice Pickett of Ocilla; six brothers, Johnny Eldrige (Gwen) Wynn, Wade Wynn, Derrick Wynn and Trevin Simmons, all of Ocilla, Daryl Smith of Newark, NJ and Wiloscar Edwards, Jr. of Avon Park, FL; four sisters, Ronda Smith of Newark, NJ, Ann McCoy of Jacksonville, FL, Kuala Williams of West Palm Beach, FL and Tasha Tripp of Dothan, AL and two granddaughters, Aniyah Mondon of Fitzgerald and Chalil Pickett of Ocilla. Davis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
